Laggy Video iPod?
Anyone notice that if you have near 10,000 songs the iPod starts to lag. I have to wait 5 seconds from start up to load a song from clicking it to playing it. If I skip from song to song, theres a 1-3 second lag. Lag does not occur if I play in order. 1-3 second lag in interface, if I'm exiting a song(Music, Photos, Videos..., etc.)
I'm guessing that the iPod wasn't meant to hold 10000 songs. This is also apparent in iTunes. There is about a 10 second lag time between dragging songs to add to iTunes and iTunes actually responding. iTunes, when I attach my iPod freezes up, until it loads 30 seconds later, first time. Basically I can't open iTunes and it freezes all other apps running at the time as well. I can't access firefox, my IM messenger if frozen, except for responds and explorer is laggy.
My Computer is new and near high-end. Its not the best computer but its better than most consumer computers. Its custom...
However, these issues do not occur with the iPod Photo that I had, even when there was only a few megabytes left. Anyone know what to do, to cure the lag? It even kills the games I play>_<.
