No, I can positively say that there is NO bluetooth on the iPod Touch. You can hack or mod your Springboard to show it in the status bar, but nothing will happen, there is no bluetooth.

Although seriously, why would you want bluetooth? Even on the iPhone, it's only used, can can only be used, for one purpose, and that is bluetooth headset... and seeing there is no phone on the ipod touch....

The only other desired function of bluetooth would be to connect to network or share internet, but...
You can use SSH to tunnel internet to your other devices or connect to a network, I think there are programs in the app store for this now.
Maybe the predicted new iPod Touch coming out soonish?

Adding bluetooth keyboard support would be really useful... you can't do that at the moment either

I just completed a review of Jaybirds JB-200 Stero Bluetooth headset, I was also able to use the iPod adaptar, it runs off the iPods battery so only real down side.

Check here for my video and review: http://mobilitysite.com/2008/12/jayb...daptor-review/

I really like the stero headset and was great with no cables, another issue was the adaptar sticks out at the bottom so having it on a table or some where were it wont be knocked etc it best. This would be the only real option if you want to use a Bluetooth headset is to get the adaptar combo.

Cheers

Jace
