[Tip] - How To Easily Copy Songs From Your iPod To Your Computer For Free
1. Plug the iPod into the computer you want to copy songs onto.
2. iTunes will open so just exit out of it when it does.
3. Go to "My Computer" and select and open the drive that is your iPod.
4. At the top bar of the file explorer window there will be a tab that says "Tools". Click on the "Tools" tab and then go down to "Folder Options" and click on that.
5. Move over to the second tab which will be called "View" and click on it.
6. Midway through there will be a section called "Hidden Files and Folders". Go there.
7. Underneath it there are 2 options. One says "Do Not Show Hidden Files and Folders" and the other says "Show Hidden Files and Folders". Select the latter.
8. Exit out of that and go back to the iPod disk drive.
9. Open the "iPod_Control" folder.
10. Open the "Music" folder.
11. There will be numerous folders all starting with a letter and ending in two numbers. Open a file and copy the music from there to the "My Music/iTunes" directory usually located in your "My Documents" folder.
12. Do that for as many folders as you want.
13. When finished copying files, open up iTunes and at the top of the window click the tab "edit" and go down to "Prefrences" and go to the "Advanced" tab. Select "Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized".
14. Finally go to the "File" tab and "Add Folder to Library" tab. Select the "My Music/iTunes" directory and iTunes will add all those songs to your library.
15. Enjoy the music off your iPod on your computer. :):):)
