Internet explorer not able to launch

Hi all

I am facing problems with internet connection on my laptop. As soon as i launch internet explorer, laptop hangs an i have to reboot it.

I tried with gprs connection, it works smoothly with differnt websites but does not connects me with yahoo messenger, reddif messenger...

What cld be the problem, i did virus scan, but of no use.

Can any one guide...

That is weird. Try using FireFox for the time being. Before I had a problem where IE did this and I used FireFox to get me to Microsoft's site to re-download and repair IE.

Have you tried scanning for spyware/malware? Try using Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D (use both as they create a net where one somtimes misses things that the other catches).

Hi

Sunday worked for me, i got my laptop formatted and there were number of spyware in my laptop as i usually download songs and videos and now the person has too installed anti-virus and anti-spyware software to stop this.
