Its a giant ipod, run!!!


Is that really any faster typing than a keyboard. The keyboard has always been the slowest input device on a pc. Right now i am thinking faster than i can type, and i can type pretty fast.
But, as of now for me, nothing beats the old qwerty keyboard. That may change someday.

Although, this would be a great way to type on smaller devices. Since that spin wheel is common on apples mobile devices, implementing a keyboard on those devices, which are too small for a regular kb, would be great.

But, on a laptop there is room for a keyboard. So, unless its faster, then it would be worth it.

I wouldn't count on seeing QWERTY go away any time soon, if ever. (Any more than you're going to see the steering-wheel disappear from cars).

They tried to do that with the DVORAK keyboard layout about 20 years ago and it was a flop. QWERTY just works. It's about as ubiquitous as you can get. There have and always will be alternate input methods but you ain't gonna see QWERTY go away.
