Sooner or later I'm going to buy one of those mini notebooks just to have one. Trouble is, I don't need one!

About the only thing that I would add is that sometime this Spring (HP says), they will add a higher resolution screen (1366 x 768). It will also be available with 7200RPM drives (up to 160GB) and up to 2GB or DDR2 RAM (for Vista only, I think).

Yepper..I've had mine for a coupla weeks now, added a 2GB stick. came with 7200 160GB HDD. I decided "not"to wait for a "PROMISED" high res. Getting the Seagate 7200 500GB HDD with 16MB cache RSN and have a 7200 320GB on USB now. Been tweaking and installing up till now. Plan XP Pro for the new HDD. Bizzy, bizzy..

It never ends...:)

Take Care

I have a hP2140 sitting in front of me right now. Its got Win XP on it and so far I have changed out the RAM to 2 gb and the hard drive to a 128gb SSD. It is a great unit. At this point I am continuing testing to see if it can replace my Dell D620 as my only portable computer. I have also added a MoGo X54 Express Card optical blue tooth mouse to my unit. I have even had this unit setting as a work station being plugged into a Dell 21: flat panel monitor with the resolution setting at 1600 x 1200. I got my unit with a 3 cell battery and with the power settings on energy saving with the SSD I am getting between 3.5 and 3.75 hours while on the internet with wifi/bluetooth turned on. :approve:
