The current version 2.4.0 will run on WM5 but will not display images within the feed items. A new version which corrects this issue will be released in the next few days.

In attempting to improve the foreign feed support, I apparently broke something. I will release a fix as soon as I am able to correct the problem. My apologies for the inconvenience.

If you want someone to buy your software, you really should try not having the animated gif showing a bug/garbled text.

I agree, this is a nice program. I use it for offline reading. Worth the $12.

some observations:
1. Several characters are illegible; there are encoding issues here. I've noticed that some feeds with problems in egress render perfectly in bloglines/firefox.

2. you can import opml files pretty easily, though you have to put it inside the root directory.

3. These feeds can take up a lot of space. 40-50K each. Be sure your installation directory is on your memory card.

4. They have good options for caching web content and enclosures. I haven't tried them yet.

A couple enclosure questions: When subscribing to a new podcast feed, why is it that only the most recent file is DLed? Is this by design? Also, the red 'X' beside the DL progress bar doesn't seem to do anything and makes the app hang.

egress works OK on WM5. I liked the feature of egress able to get podcast. But freezes too often. I had to re-do my Axim x51v number of times to generate the problem. I was keep getting ERROR report on egress.exe.

Still not stable yet. Please recommend me decen RSS reader for WM5, which can get the podcast also.

Thanks.
