D'accord. C'est vrai!

I especially like that it is free!

My motto has always been: If it's free, it's for me! & There is no nation like DO-nation!

I can't seem to be able to access files across a networked drive. Can this be set up to do that or is there another version that I need.

I myself have been using this for a while (atleast 3 months) and find it to work great for my usual image needs on my PDA. Slideshow + pr0n is good stuff.

Inviting Spam?

I like free, but if they want an e-mail address before sending a d-load link, I would have to assume more SPAM will be part of the free deal

Use a free internet e-mail account to stay spam-free.

Gmail is good for this sort of thing. If you'd like an invite, see thread http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=79744.

Email???

Why sign up for an email account, just use MyTrashMail.com or Mailinator.com

That way you save time by no sign-ups and you never get SPAM.

it's a great piece of software :) the only thing if i ever have to complain about it is that it does not do software rerendering (to eliminate the jagged lines which occurs after downsizing a picture to be displayed) - resco photo viewer (free for axim users) does that... but in any case, i use both.

Where ?
All I see is free trial or $19.99 ??

Also this free ap says it's "beta".

Still, well worth installing.

Desktop version seems to be 39EURO's and can "create slide shows in PDF and Flash formats".

X50user: If your "Where?" is referring to Resco, it is on the CD that came from Dell. You can then update is using the special Dell version on this page: http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/photoviewer/downloads.asp

After updating, it'll tell you you're using an unregistered trial version. After 30 days, it'll tell you it's expired and that JPEG support is gone, but just click OK and it'll work as normal.

I use this (XnView) mostly for TGA files as I said in the first post. I also like saving screen shots in formats other than bmp or jpg.

Many thanks Inertial :approve:

back to topic ...
XnView is quite fast at resizing & converting, not lightning fast but fast enough for PocketPC use.
Pity it only gives a few save options though:
jpeg, gif, bmp & png.

It would be even better if it could convert to any of the formats listed in:
configuration\association

Nice find Frenchie :approve:

I registered my email but have not gotten a download number. Can anyone help out? I would like to get this installed before work tomorrow morning.

Oh, no! I wish I had given a different email address so I don't get blasted with spam. NOT THINKING AHEAD!
