Mastersoft is happy to announce a major update of their best selling Pocket PC personal finance manager - Mastersoft Money.
New Mastersoft Money V6 now features Splits, Schedules, Reminders, Alerts, Wireless currency updates, a Time Manager, Loan Calculator, and an Investment Calculator ... plus many more user suggested enhancements. Just $14.95 (or $9.95 to upgrade)
I'm actually looking into something like this for myself. This is $15 and the spb one is $25.
I use MS Money so which one would you recommend? I just use it for basic functionality by importing my bank statement and seeing expenditure vs income.
Let's not forget Cash Organizer 05. So far, it beats the socks off just about everything else out there. Check for threads on PPC performance problems with SPB finance installed, it might change your mind about that.
I am still searching for a product for my X50, so far I have tried SPB and now this one. I use Quicken on my desktop and my primary goal is to carry that information on my PPC to have as reference. I believe V6 is very basic and for the purposes of synching with Quicken I would look at SPB. The reason I have not yet adopted SPB, though, is that the last time I tried it, it messed up my Quicken database (it created duplicate entries).
I beta tested this thing and it's, as the versions before it, very good. A loss of a few features, the pie chart doesn't rotate, etc. And gaining of new features like schedualed transactions and memorization improvement, etc. Try it out! There's a trial for it and I think y'all enjoy it.

well, Spb Finance has good features - however, all you get is lost time (and lost productivity) due to bugs and other issues, and the resulting wait for updates to come...
the one from Micro$oft??? free, yes, but terribly lacking in features...
for me - the tried and proven... stable, fast, and can stand on-its-own (ie., without a desktop component) === Cash Organizer
*thumbs up*

has anyone tested this on an x50v with WM 5, I tried it over the weekend, but all I got were errors? I'm not sure why it wouldn't load up. anyway, figured I'd ask and someone else might have tried it.

Just out of curiosity, what bugs and other issues are you talking about? I havn't noticed many bugs.
I tried mastersoft money and cash organizer. I didn't like them too much. Mainly the way they input transactions and the slow load times.
Why MasterSoft Money when you can get Microsoft for FREE!!
Just wondering, but why would you want to pay 14.95US for Mastersoft Money, when you can get Microsoft Money 2006 for free from Microsoft??? Here's the link for anyone who wants it...
AND no, you do not need the desktop version to install it. If you do have it, it will sync with it. I don't have the desktop version and my mobile version works great!
The reason you'd pay $14.95US Dollars is because it's a powerful piece of software. Have you tried running it's trial, javatyger? Microsoft Money and MasterSoft Money are barely comparable in my opinion.

If you haven't contacted MasterSoft for support, PM me with the error messages, I'll see if I can help you out.
(And by the way, I'm not selling this software. I AM a third party and enjoy this software and want others too as well. That is why I'd like to help anyone who is having bugs or trouble with MasterSoft Money.)

I'll be honest, I've never tried the trial. I support the microsoft one I guess because of the price...0.00  ...and it takes care of what I need...I needed a program that allowed me to budget my bills, had a Today Plug-in, and could balance my cheque book...I'm happy with it.
If you need more functionality then that, then I don't know if the Microsoft edition does support it, but I just thought I'd mention that it's a free app, a price a lot of us like! :approve:
PS: in case I do need something more, does the Mastersoft vendor support paypal??? I don't have a credit card, so my option is paypal. Any ideas?
