Benefit: Windows 2000 USB driver issues in the previous version of ActiveSync have been fixed.

Feature: More robust synchronization with Outlook.

How do I set the activesync to recognize my existing device ID? Currently I have to set up an entirely new partnership.

As I said in another post, this is the exact same list of benefits listed in the readme file for ActiveSync 3.6. I did a Word "compare documents" and about all that changed was the copyright year and the version number.

FWIW...

Help!!!

Now that I've installed 3.7, it asks me to set up my partnership again, and it won't let me use the Pocket_PC name! It's forcing me to change it to something else, because it says that name is already in use. I use my Ax at home and at work, and right now I'm at work, but I still want to sync. Any clue?

There are lots of posts about this on this site. Sorry no time to explain as I am dashing out but you'll find the answers if you search for active synch and partnership.

didn't we already have TCP/IP passthrough?

I was already using TCP/IP via the cradle with 3.5 that came with the axim.

Open ActiveSync while you are not connected and delete the partnership (File -> Delete Partnership). Then try again.

Though when I installed 3.7 over 3.6, it picked up right where it was. As has always been my experience with new versions of ActiveSync.

Sleep No Hoo Hoo

I just upgraded. No problem but no significant improvement that I can see. Since I am running lotus notes the Outlook benifits don't come into play.
On to other issues
