Public Beta for Anthelion 2

The game was Anthelion, and it has been honored with a handful of awards and great reviews ever since. Now it's time to share a secret with you - for some time we've been quietly working on a sequel of even greater proportions.

Anthelion 2: Celestial Vigilance is our upcoming sequel to Anthelion. The game consists of even more action, easier controls, superior full-3D graphics, and VGA support. That's right! The game also runs smooth on VGA devices (such as the HP hx4700, the ASUS 730, Fujitsu's LOOX 720 and of course Dell's X50v and X51v), making full use of the fantastic displays and being the first 3D VGA game not dependant on HW acceleration.

The BEST part is that you can download the Public Beta version for free this week and try the game before it's released."

I have had this game for a few days, and it is great. I would have to advise everyone to get it. The graphics are beatifull on VGA.

Installed it to SD card on my x50v. Looks great! So what are the restrictions on this public beta? When does it expire? Are the features limited e.g. campaigns?

The "Free Game" mode is limited to a few rounds, and the campaign mode only has one mission - "Training".

I'd be interested in knowing how much MORE this game could do with HW accel? I bet they would get TONS of detail into there! *Drool* MmmmMmMMmm, bump mapping..

I beleive there will be a 2700g otimized version released soon, but I am not sure when.

I was wrong, the campaign mode has more than one mission. I've made it up to mission 3 so far. It was cool to see Rikter again in mission 2! :approve:
