Isotope244 Graphics, well known for their awesome ports of classic arcade games (and winners of 2 "Best of Software" awards), have released a new game called Atomic Battle Dragons. Some of you may have beta-tested this back when it was still called Dragon Joust. It's an enhanced, updated, and story-driven version of arguably the best arcade game ever - Joust.
In this action and adventure game you fly a dragon and battle several mythical enemies. You play as a dragon knight and uncover a story rooted in medieval mythology. The lands are under siege from Belzom's evil dragon army and you must joust them to save the kingdom.
In this exciting platform game you travel through four very unique zones containing over 40 levels. Scattered throughout these zones you will encounter strange and unique beasts to slay, including four huge zone bosses. The game features several different types of game play, such as flying a dragon, shooting a ballista, fighting enemies in the air and on the ground, jousting opponents, adventuring on foot, and collecting magicalitems and gems.
FYI: The game does work in VGA right now if you use SE_VGA. I also plan on adding another binary to the game install so that way you can play in VGA without requiring SE_VGA if you want to. The reason I didn't make it VGA by default is I think the game plays much better in QVGA mode, in VGA the graphics are very small.
Also a Windows and Smartphone version are on the way.

They decided that "Atomic Battle Dragons" was really a better name than "Dragon Joust"??? I guess we're going for 1960s sci-fi rather than mideival, eh? Ok...
Whoa--cool! I beta tested this game per the link that was posted on Aximsite.com, and I freakin' won one of the free full-version copies! I'm downloading it right now.

I also beta-tested this thing. Even in its earliest versions I really enjoyed playing the game. I'm downloading the finished product now. I'm sure it will be fantastic!

[My positive feelings about this game are only increased by the fact that I too am receiving a free version!]
I also test the beta version from the link on Aximsite and won a free version. I enjoyed the game would have had no problem paying for it. It ran smooth on my X5.
they should now fix the atomic cannon to run on x51v.
Both Atomic Cannon Pocket and Acky's XP Breakout can run on the x51v with a patch. See the bottom of the games webpage for the details and the link to DL.
