Happy Thanksgiving! Contact Breeze 1.2 released from SBSH
First and foremost - Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! And second - SBSH has released Contact Breeze 1.2. Amit and team have updated Contact Breeze with some new features that include:
Windows Mobile 5 support - ContactBreeze version 1.2 offers complete compatibility with the new Windows Mobile 5 OS.
New context menu operation using D-Pad - New options added allowing users to easily use ContactBreeze context menus using the D-Pad alone, and also use a special dialing context menu that allows phone edition users to choose which phone number to dial using the D-Pad alone for each of your contacts.
Full screen searching operation improvements - many code improvements were added with the new version on the full screen searching section, making it more useable and more feature rich.
Hmmm, i tried all these phone numbers in the example picture above, but none of them worked Can i file a bug report somewhere that addresses this problem? :yelrotflm
Thanks, Jan

The new version should work just fine on WM2003SE OS. Although one of the new features that the new version adds is support in WM5 devices, there are many new changes that we've also added that will effect all OS versions that ContcatBreeze supports, which are Pocket PC 2002, 2003 (First and Second edition) and WM5 :)
As for PB 4.3.16, you might notice a few minor compatibility issues between this version and PocketBreeze 4.X (and not PocketBreeze 5.X that is), but as much as I can tell, everything should still work fine with the older PocketBreeze version :)

I tried 6o install new CB from CAB file and after "successful" instalation my PocketBreeze and ILauncher has been wiped out. PocketWeather survived instalation. Still no ContactBreeze on my x51v. maybe I just shouldn't use CAB installer. PocketBreeze and ilauncher folders shows up in progeam files folder. Weird.
ContactBreeze installed over existinging program without any noted problems. Using PB 5.0 on Windows Moble 2003SE. Thanks for the great program! :approve:

I had a similar problem. When I installed CB 1.2 "over the top" on my X50v running WM2003 SE OS, PocketBreeze V5 did not run as a Today Screen plug-in. When I went to "settings\today\items" PocketBreeze did not show as an option.
This was caused (I think) becuase the file "windows\pocketbreeze.dll" had been deleted!
Re-installing PB5 cured the problem and both now work fine. Both upgrades are superb :approve:
PocketWeather and iLauncher are run from PB5 tabs and were not affected.
Although I have only installed CB 1.2 very recently, it seems that my whole X50v now runs much faster and more smoothly, particularly after a soft reset. I don't really understand why this should be so (it may be just my imagination, but I don't thnk so).
