SplashBlog Available for Windows Mobile and Series 60 Phones
Attention all bloggers! Found this over at GeekZone.
SplashData, Inc. is making its SplashBlog photo-blogging solution available for additional mobile devices, including Windows Mobile 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0 devices, and Symbian Series 60 smartphones. A version for Symbian UIQ devices is currently under development, while Palm OS users had this feature available for some time now.
Users of Windows Mobile and Series 60 wireless devices are able to instantly publish photos to a “photo-blog” for friends and family members to see. Users are also able to subscribe to other photo blogs to download photos to their handhelds.
Features available to all SplashBlog users include the ability to maintain multiple SplashBlogs from the same account, for those who may want to set up different photo-blogs to suit different audiences, such as personal and business associates, plus the ability for anyone to search for images based on title, caption, category and handheld device.
SplashBlog allows visitors to post their own views about each published image. Comments can either be posted by visitors to the Web version of a SplashBlog, or from wireless devices by those who have “subscribed” to blogs and download newly published images to their handhelds by clicking on the “Sync” button within SplashBlog.
Any user can create and maintain a SplashBlog of up to 500 images for free. Those who want to store more than 500 images can subscribe for US$29.95 per year.
thats pretty cool.. and the picture uploading feature is nice. I'm however using the ppcdj client for livejournal (supports other journal sites too) and am reasonably satisfied with it.
Thanks for posting.

Works great on my x51v. Makes me wish I had an integrated camera now. I have a nice digital camera and a camera phone though both require me to download pictures to the PC before uploading. Consequently, Ill probably rarely update photos. ...and I only have one friend/family member who uses a PDA/smartphone on a regular basis so not much other content to view.

Luckily, I just upgraded into a camera phone with bluetooth, so I can easily send over to my Axim. Free phone, a co-worker decided to upgrade twice in a year, went with the new razer, gave me the Moto V551.
