Since PDAs started out to improve organization, they have evolved to the current sophisticated PocketPCs...and they still are used for organizing our lives, all of which Pocket Breeze does better than other applications. Having finished a punishing degree at University a few years ago, where the workload was to the point where an hour break to watch X-files was really a sad highlight to a week, I'd like to make a plug to have Pocket Breeze go to one of the students who have entered - I know it would have really helped me if I had it back when I was in school.
Wow! What timing. Here it is December and the weather folks are threatening us with snow in Seattle where people can't drive if there is a trace of the dreaded white stuff on the road. If I had a copy of Pocket Weather I would know the truth and wouldn't have to listen to all of the hyperbole and hype on the news.
But instead, i will have to go to Arizona for Christmas. Think of all of the money I could save if only I had a free copy of Pocket Weather!
I used my PDA as a low end laptop all throughout college. When I first got pocket breeze, I was a bit nervous. But as I soon learned the program is a BREEZE (man I'm funny) to use, and kept me accurate with school. After I started using pocket breeze never again did I walk into a classroom only to find out we had a test that day. Pocket breeze got me through college.
Now that I've left college pocket breeze doesn't leave my side. I use it to keep track of all my appointments at work, what assignments I have coming up, and when I have something do. And now that my wife is pregnant, pocket breeze is becoming even better. I use it to keep track of all of here Diabetic appointments, and our baby appointments. I don't want to miss another one of her appointments, our couch is not a good place to sleep. Not only that, but I carry a list of what baby items we have recieved, so that when people ask I know.
All of this software will help me ensure that all the children of the world get their gifts on time!
I'll use it to enter in everyone's names and whether they've been good or bad, as well as setting appointment times which follow through the different timezones to make sure I don't arrive too early, or too late.
I'll be able to check the weather forecasts to see if I'm going to need my raincoat, winter coat, or if I'll be able to wear some shorts while I'm crusing over the skies from house to house.
The best part is that iLauncher puts these programs and more, right at my fingertips so I never have to fumble around looking for them.
Santa's job isn't easy.....but SBSH makes it a whole lot easier! :)
Maybe I'm a little dense.... but how do I profit from entering a contest where I already own every SBSH product? I can win something I already have?

Last year Amit provided 5 copies of the latest version of SBSH's Pocket Breeze for a fun little contest Aximsite ran. Well, tis time once again, but Amit has tossed in 2 copies of Pocket Weather and 2 copies of iLauncher as well!
The contest will start Thursday, 12/1/2005 at 12:01 AM and end on Friday, 12/23/2005 at 11:59 PM. No entries made before the starting time or after the ending time will be considered. Winners will be announced at some point on Christmas Day.
Your goal is simple . . . state in a paragraph or two how Pocket Breeze can make your hectic life more manageable. There were some pretty creative entries last year!
There's gonna be 9 winners - copies of Pocket Breeze 5 will be awarded to the top five entries and the 4 runners-up will be awarded a copy of iLauncher or Pocket Weather. I will let my oldest grandson - Stetson - determine how PW and iL are dispersed! :)
So get your keyboards ready. The contest starts in just 51 minutes! Aximsite Staff - we ain't eligible. Sorry!
Thanks to Amit and the crew over at SBSH for sponsoring this contest!
I already have Pocket Breeze latest version and have benefited enormously, however I do not have pocket weather and Ilauncher, which would be a huge benefit to my life. Complications always occur and I do have to travel, and with out my trusty Axim I would be lost. I work full time running a business, go to school full time, and work in the military part time. My family says I forget everything, and I am obsessed with planning. Weather is important to me since I travel for my military duty. Anything to make my life more simplistic, and keep my wife off my butt would be an improvement, even if it were only minor. I believe I could spend more time with the kids instead of planning for everyday activities. Help me please stay organized, every little bit adds up to extreme improvements!
I want to start off today by saying thank you for the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful contest. Even if I do not win, I am thrilled to at least have the chance at owning some really powerful software. With that said, I will now submit my entry for your consideration.
A little over 2 years ago, I came to the conclusion that it was time to own a pda. At first, I was attracted to the overall novelty of a pda. After all, it is a hand held computer. How awesome is that? Then I got to thinking about all of the wonderful possibilities that a pda could provide. I knew that it was much more useful than for just playing games. I never realized just how much of an important tool it would become. My pda has now become a very integral part of my day. With trying to juggle work, family and a fiance, life has become rather hectic. All of that has become a whole lot easier since owning a pda.
I quickly realized that just owning a pda is not enough. You have to have the software to drive this tool and really make it work to your advantage. That is when I discovered Pocket Breeze. I do not currently own Pocket Breeze. It is my hope that I will win this contest and own a copy. One of the most commonly used applications on my pda is Pocket Informant. Sure, I could have just stuck with the calendar that Windows Mobile provided. The provided calendar did not cut it. Pocket Informant is so much more powerful. I use Pocket Informant on a daily basis. It is where I store all of my important dates, contacts, tasks, etc. I do not know what I would do without Pocket Informant. I know that I would be completely lost. Pocket Breeze makes Pocket Informant even more powerful. It would allow me to view up to 30 days of appointments and tasks on my today screen. This is definitely a handy attribute. I could customize it to my liking with skins, layouts, fonts, colors, etc. Honestly, Pocket Breeze is every bit as important as Pocket Informant in my opinion. The best thing about it is that Pocket Breeze integrates perfectly with Pocket Informant. This is definitely great news! Coming from someone who used to keep a hard copy of their calendar, after using Pocket Informant I am never going back! Pocket Breeze would only make it better.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, when you go to choose a winner for this contest, I ask that you please give me your full consideration. I would greatly appreciate it and be forever grateful if I won. Thank you for your time and God bless America!
I have trully loved my Axim since installing Pocket Informant. I am able to keep all my Outlook information right at my fingertips without missing a beat or appointment. The lacking thing is finding a good Today page format.
PocketBreeze looks to be just the thing I have been looking for to tie my Axim together with my Pocket Informant.
Heh, can I write about why I'd like to win on behalf of my Axim-using husband? If he had Pocket Breeze, I might not have had to wait 5 years for flooring in my bathroom, the broken step fixed, the storm door repaired ... and I would not have to be a harpy. In short, PB seems to be key to marital harmony
To put it bluntly HELP, I am the sole Support for Desktop, network, server, phone and mainframe for an office of 279 people due to HIPPA reasons we are not allowed Wi-Fi and as you can imagine I spend a good deal of time away from my desk what I have been doing is printing all my help requests to a txt file then uploading them to my dell Axim 51v run around like a chicken with its head cut off, then run back sync over the next batch and try to remember what all the resolutions were for all the help requested I finished in the batch before, I average 100+ completed requests per day and this doesn’t even included the being caught in the hallway requests or the computer moves. Plus I have to set up the boardroom for meetings and hardly have the time to get back to my computer for more then about 9 seconds to see if someone has requested me to do yet one more task. Seeing a assistant out of the question and they are shifting 56 more people over here on the first of the year any help would be a Godsend
Well, I have PB5 and ILauncher, and PB is an amazing piece of software. Everything on the Today screen: calendar, tasks, contacts (okay, I also have Contact Breeze), even mail from our company's OutLook is synchronized and available under the mail tab. Now, do I utilize the PB software? I do, and have tweaked it to my preferences with the amazing amount of flexibility that it offers. I love the popup calendar, and the integration with Pocket Informant, including Icons. How can I tell that PB is helping me get organized? Because, while I love Pocket Informant, I use it less and less as time goes on because PB handles most of my needs, and right there on the Today Screen, did I mention that? Oh, and I will admit that the best usage of the software is amazing your coworkers who were saddled with a Palm Pilot (yawn). They simply can not believe what cool things are lurking on the Today screen of my Pocket PC. On the downside, I spend an inordinate amount of time switching the tabs from the Top of the app to the side, as I can't for the life of me figure out which way I like best. Oh well.........
Pocket Breeze takes an already useful and functional X51v from great to greater! With its user friendly interface and the ability to set icons on the today screen for visual reminders it simplifies yet expands the information organization process. All of my information and systems are now a fast stylus tap away, screens and displays can be personalized to my style and preference, and the user interface is so friendly I haven't even cracked the cover on the full manual one may download for assistance. Take my Pocket Breeze? Then I'd just have an ordinary Palm Top! PB rocks! :approve:
Well, I'm going to be doing a bit of everything now. I have school, work, and developing. It takes a lot of work to keep orginized, and right now, I'm not capable of doing that. Pocket Breeze would really make things easier.
