ListPro 4.1 Released

As a Technical Writer, I've learned to love lists. Numbered, bulleted, or hollow-circled. Everyone loves lists and lists love everyone.

Ilium Software has just released ListPro 4.1, an update to their already-popular list client. I never knew you could do all those things with just a list!

New/Updated features include:

Simplified List Creation
Strike-Thru Completed Items
Expanded Calculations
New "Find All" Function
Improved Printing
More Support for Windows Mobile 5.0 Devices
Better Support for the Palm Treo
Complete Support for any Screen Size or Shape
And many other Usability Improvements

Man, when I first saw this post I thought it was a Pocket PC app for XM radio! Darn tease! ;) Still looks cool though...

I paid $16+ for the upgrade, been using 3.0 for over a year now. I find if I force myself to use it, I do better than trying to remember things, especially with travel and projects.

It's too bad ListPro doesn't have a today screen plugin. I like ListPro a lot, but I don't use it often enough as I could because it's not immediately accessible.

I'm looking forward to seeing SBSH's HandyList2 (or, whatever it's going to be called), and seeing if it has a today screen plug-in which can be integrated as a tab of PocketBreeze 5.

I've used ListPro for a couple of years now, but I was disappointed when version 4 gave me problems with my X51v (even though they said it would work with WM5). 4.1 now has WM5 support, so I just installed it again. So far, so good. This is a fantastic program that's great for lists and even doubles as a flat-file database.

I'm pretty sure he wants to be able to view a selected list directly on the today screen, much like you can view RSS data with PocketRSS from within PocketBreeze on the today screen without opening the program.

This truly does look to be an amazing list program.

TO DO lists are an absolute must in my business and personal life, and a nice teliology of sorts as opposed to the basic "TASK" list system provided with my Axim is essential.

Can one set alarms to correspond to List events?

My Listpro wish list

Hi.

I believe that Listpro is a great program, but I would like it had some features that TreNotes has, like:
a) Progress items bars
b) Automatic check of parent item based in progress (%) of child items.
c) Manual and automatic progress items.
d) Automatic check of parent progress bar item when childs progress items reach 100%. (Not in TreNotes also).

I hope some day it will be real.

Regards

This is odd. It says that the old unlocking codes work with 4.1.

I never used a code to unlock my ListPro, to the best of my memory. I purchased 4.0 through Handango and simply got a full version download.

Edit: Never mind. I see on Ilium's site that sometimes when you purchase their products through 3rd party sites you get a link to the full version. You can then request codes from Ilium to unlock trial versions if you don't have the download link anymore.

You can set alarms as long as a list has a date column and you have the list properties set to use alarms.

I love this product. I already had 4.0 so I downloaded the upgrade. No more paper lists when I go shopping.

I alos use their eWallet product.
