Same problem with X50v and WM5. very slow when hitting start and takes 5-10 seconds to paint menus. Bummer.

I installed the new version this morning and I LOVE it! It runs faster and more smoothly than when I installed the old version.

I'm not sure that this is ALL to be credited to the new release... I also have since disabled Today screen memory and storage meters to speed up spb pocket plus and pocketbreeze.

But yea this works great!

I installed the trial version on my x51v yesterday. It seemed to be working as expected throughout the day and last evening. This morning I turned my PDA on and the top bar had the datetime, but no start menu and no other icons. A soft reset did not fix anything. Fortunately, I was able to get into the settings for this program and unchecked the run at soft reset. After a soft reset, I immediately uninstalled it.

I think this could be another case where it runs on the WM5 emulator, but has problems with certain PDAs that use WM5.

I would recommend to all of you that are having slow menu issues and other problems to join the Lakeridge forums if you haven't or are not a member already. There are some settings that can be adjusted to speed up the menu and Chris McKay, the developer provides very good support for other issues.

I have both WA2 and WAD installed and with help from the forums, my machine is running as fast and as "stable" as it was without them.

I was using the previous version 2.4.1 beta and it was beautiful. I've found that this program can get a bit flakey; So, if you've got something you're lovin leave it alone unless you don't mind having to reinstall it. Anyhow, I did install it and so far it works great. For those finding it slow try to disable showing favourites and other stuff that might slow things down. I find that sometimes the first tap is a bit slow but after that things are fine. I can't live without this and pocketbreeze. This is definitely the best little program. Do a backup before installation... definitely. :)
