Ok guys, you've heard the rumor out there, right. Well rumor has it that Dell is getting set to exit the PDA market. Well, this is rumor, but it started alot of fuss here and all over.
I got an official response from Dell today. It's not saying much, but at least its something:
"Customers and enthusiasts continue to appreciate the Axim X51 family and it is available today on www.dell.com. Consistent with our policies I cannot comment on future products or roadmaps."
I'll keep everyone up to date!

I heard that they were thinking about putting out an offical press release but that they really could not comment on whether they were going to actually put out a release or just a rumor of a release ;)
But consistant with our policies, we cannot comment on the location or condition of said wall.

Okay...I understand that there's no real action on the latest ROM update to WM5 running Axims, but is the news so slow that this site needs to post this non-responsive, but entirely predictable and consistent comment from Dell as a headline?
