I say... let us all return our x51v/x51s and demand our money back from Dell.

We have enough trouble with these pieces of crap.

Mad WM5 is a step back not forward for BT users

I'd like to add to this petition that the Bluetooth Stack for WM5 is woeful, as many threads on the forums for frustrated x50/51 owners on this site attest.

We demand that Dell supply us with the latest BT AKU settings so that we can unlock the fabulous potential our x50/51 devices undoubtedly possess, without having to resort to hacks, patches and unofficial software upgrades to achieve this.

Furthermore we demand that Dell continues to support its loyal WM2000SE following in a similar fashion for as long as it is financially prudent to do so. It is disgraceful for a company of Dell's size to leave WM2003SE customers without a reasonable alternative to upgrade to.

The very fact that the latest download for WM2000Se is the 'downgrade' option for those who have unwittingly tried to upgrade to WM5 is proof that Dell has admitted its failure to provide a proper replacement for WM2000SE that is fit for purpose.

All i want is a decent bluetooth stack and cisco VPN client support. But since i know i'll never have the latter i will be more than happy to just have the bluetooth updated.

signed the petition a while ago

wasn't too phased about the wm5 issues, since then i've started using it more and more and have noticed just how annoying it becomes.

Just recently upgraded to a v51x from my x30
1. Frequent soft resets because the unit hangs.
2. Slow startup after being powered off, or doing a soft reset.
3. Still haven't gotten Bluetooth working.
4. Software I have used for a long time behaves erratically.

I'm about ready to go back to my x30...I didn't have any of these problems with that unit and WM2003SE.
