Typically new Wisbar Advance 2 skins aren't 'news', but this one is different: the much celebrated LightMan has finally released the Silverado VGA skin that he started in May 2005. According to his information page, the skin includes images for:

• Wisbar Advance 2 w/ landscape support
• Wisbar Advance Desktop Theme w/ Pocket Plus meters
• SBSH Pocket Breeze w/ tab icons
• SBSH Contact Breeze
• SBSH iLauncher meters (32x32 and 64x64)
• PsShutXP
• Weather Panel theme
• Weather Panel weather iconset
• Conduits PocketPlayer skin
• 64x64 icons (apps, games and folders)

Hmmm, how can I use the PocketPlus icons? I thought those were only accessible if included in an extended Today theme, which I don't see in the download?

I am using psshutxp and put the images in the folder. I got the pop-up image to work but the system tray icon won't change. I verified it was there and soft reset, but no go. Any ideas?

you have to install spb extended theme generator (free) and use the icons provided to make your own theme.

I've been kicking around the notion of trying this one out since I first saw it over at SBSH forums and think I might finally give in a give it a shot when I get home tonight. I think I might do a mixture of Expea2 (my current) and this new one. We'll see how it turns out.

Yeah, I struggled with that one too...

iLaucher doesn't just switch over to a new skin like Wisbar Advance 2 or Pocket Breeze. You have to select each of the new meters individually.

The first step I did was move the meter related images to the directory where the other meters were. On my Pocket PC, it is in
Program Files\SBSH\iLauncher\meters
The second step was to select the new meters in iLauncher Settings on the Shortcuts tab. You'll have to remove the old meter and add a new one to change the look.
