Frenchy, I'm just curious, how this can beat direct sync with Exchange Server (as you can get free Exchange account on www.mail2web.com)?

This seems like a cool idea, but when I try to install it locks up. There is a wizard that I can see the questions and answer yes or no, but I am supposed to be responding to layouts and such that aren't shown. When I finish the wizard nothing happens. If I cancel out of the wizard and try to set it up manually, I can click on options or profiles, but they won't actually open.

I went to the website forums and they identified the problem and posted a fix. It took me a few tries to get it to sync, but it seems to be syncing now. It doesn't seem to handle VGA very well. The bottom half of the screen doesn't really exist but it does seem to work. I may buy this.

I am still confused, if you use Plaxo in Outlook and outlook sync's with your PPC then why plaxo for PPC, is this not just a duplicate of your contacts?

I thought that you could you it to keep several contact lists synced. But now I am not sure. I have to agree. If it just syncs your outlook, which is done for free, I am not sure why you would buy this.

If you are buying this there is a thread around for 50% off WebIS products. I haven't tried it on this product. But it works on everything else webis.

I keep trying to think of a way to use this or why I would want to.. As I mentioned before this program seems redundant considering you can do a sync for free.

The only outside reason can see using this is if you are on the road, you don't have your laptop and you add a new contact into your PPC and then you have web access you can then sync with Plaxo in case you lose you PPC or it dies, you then have a back up of your contact.

The only other reason is if another Plaxo member makes changes and you want to sync on the road you can then connect via PPC and get the auto-update.

You would really need to use your PPC 100% of the time while traveling, no laptop, and have internet wifi wherever you go to make this program have one ounce of value.

I can't really even figure out why to install this and take up space even if the product was free...

Can someone else figure out value for this product?

I love WebIs but am confused.
