I think it looks really cool. Is it still vaporware? When can I get it?

We'll see ... I have a small window of experience with Nero Showtime ... or whatever it's called. Wasn't impressed after it locked up ... but that could be because of almost anything so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I do give those guys credit for bring this tech to pda's and mobile phones. That's good.

Sounds great but I have been doing tge same thing (streaming tv, internet tv, music from my computer, video, etc.) for a while now. www.orb.com. Orb is free and works well on the Dell X50V.

You're missing the point, the coolness factor comes from the great user interface.

No thanks. Nero 7 for Windows XP - the most bloated, overstuffed software package I've ever installed in my life - was released last year and is still working the bugs out. I was dissappointed, to say the least, that such a mature product line released such a buggy (slow, missing codecs, memory hog, processor hog) upgrade version.

From what the advert describes, the new Nero app for mobile devices does no more than The Core Pocket Media Player presently the best deal in freeware on the planet.

TCPMP is the best for video. But it doesn't have the greatest interface for an all-in-one player. I think the Nero Mobile will be great.

And Nero 7 is bloated but if you have a decent computer it runs fine. Plus it has tons of great applications.....Wav Editor, DVD design, Image Drive, etc....

Can we download Nero Mobile yet?

I guess some people don't think having a great UI is important. I, for one, think it would be great to have something which functions like TCPMP and allows you to see pictures and audio, but also looks like a portable Media Center.

Has anyone tried this software? I own Nero 7 so I logged in last night and downloaded it from the members area. I loaded it on my Dell X50v and it plays music just fine, but does not like avi's for some reason. I will be playing with it for a while tonite to see if I can get it to work. There is not very much documentation available for it either, unless I missed a link. More to come.

Did not install on my X51V with WM5. It complained that there was 0 memory but in fact I have plenty of main memory, SD and CF memory.
