I'm glad that power consumption is addressed. Even though recent advances in technology innovates all these great new and powerful devices, we have seen little advancement of the battery at least into the mainstream market. Why can't we get past Li-Ion? With the standard battery in my X50V, I might get 3 hours if I only briefly use the wireless.
I would love to see this NAND flash memory chip to come out in CF form as stated by PocketBrain.

Amazing, now if we could get a decent battery, that would be awesome.

Note that new Li-Ion battery types are coming out, tripling current power density.

Once the technology is stable and affordable our current PDAs will be outdated, and incompatible.

Is there an article you could link me to? RE: new li-ion.

I wonder if the future of storage devices will do away with hard drives for Flash based memory as the primary storage unit?
