I received this email today from an Aximsite member in response to the Aximsite Informer. I inserted the "Open letter to Michael Dell" in this issue.
"....At this point, it would be cheaper to "make the problem go away" than to incur the cost of fixing it. It's all about $$$ and greed with guys like Mr. Dell.
Just my humble opinion after many unsuccessful attempt to get help and/or service from Dell Computers.
Thanks for "pissing into the wind" on our behalf; we appreciate your efforts"
I LOVE IT... Tshirt Incoming, I have your address.

I keep hearing that Axim users represent nothing in comparison to Dell Sales. I would agree that it is a true statement. BUT! What is not mentioned or should be conveyed to Mikey (Dell) is that the 127 thousand members here are also DELL COMPUTER, LAPTOP, PLASMA TV, and any other crap they offer customers or POTENTIAL customers. So if we all could agree that an arbitrary number for a computer purchase is say 1500.00 (Give or take) then that amount times the total members here (MrK lurking still counts!) equals 190 MILLION DOLLARS! That better get someone's attention! I just bought two Dell laptops equaling 7500 for the total purchase!
My point is this, Dell does care, if they don't, that is really scary in conjunction with the fact that they are UNABLE to fix the problems!
Spell checked twice, once for me, and once in the hope that ABF will one day do like wise!
Very true DS. The last I heard is that Dell has sold millions of X50x Axims in N-A only. I am sure that we all have problems with the OS. The thig is we are not expressing our opinion in one place.

I understand the frustration of the quoted poster. Too often consumers are left hanging in the breeze after a purchase. In failing to support the Axim line, Dell has shown me that it is definitely Not the place to spend any more of my money. After all, why would I deal with a company that forgets who I am once the money has exchanged hands?
yup...if you don't get any decent help/support with Dell (when I need it) with the Axim...who in the right mind would pay for another thing with the Dell logo on it?
not to mention bad words travels and spread around much quicker and further away than good words. It is just impossible to count how much business Dell would lost in total if they ditch us
The funny thing is that companies like Dell wonder why they get hit with class action suits. it is no wonder as it appears to be the only recourse for the consumer. Even then all you get is emotional satisfaction because the lawyers get all the cash.
Can we bring a class action suit against lawyers?
