I can't get either one to work for me. Minimo doesn't even load....and Opera says I don't have enough memory to run (despite that I have 20 MBs worth to play with.) Anybody have any suggestions?

i was under the impression that opera would only run well on wm5, and well minimo seems like a ram hog so thats prolly why it won't load on 2003
opera works fine for me (on wm2003se) apart from the long pages bug, and a few text input issues

Great review. I'll most probably be switching to Minimo too after Opera expires. Unless.. they come up with another beta or a free version (keeping my fingers crossed).
I've just installed Minimo, but couldn't get the input method to work. I discovered that, as Calligrapher was the last input method selected, it wouldn't display anything. Had to open another app, switch back to keyboard, then start Minimo again.

I've pretty much tried all updates since .010 on my x51V and ended up deleting them eventually.
IMO, it is a most promising browser that will vastly gain in popularity when the memory footprint is under control and when the feature package is added (features currently standard with other browsers). The loading time is also a huge disadvantage.
It is however fairly functional, mostly with the latest "default browser" feature, and can be used instead of PIE for improved page rendering.
Slow, not as slow as prior versions. I like the interface. It was better with stability for awhile, but it crashed when I tried to block/copy the text I was trying to post in this thread. I notice that animated .gif's are full-speed, not slow like they are in PIE.
Has anyone know if the security related bug is fixed in WM2003SE? IN previous verisons, you could not log into sites that needed security - gmail, yahoo mail etc.
install it on my x50v wm2003se, didn't run at all after installed, did a soft reset, and it's been working fine. once in a while the text or pictures are overlaped don't know why, but after all I like it better than the std.
Well I have an Axim x51v. I've been waiting for NetFront or Opera to release a good version with builtin java support, and I'm kinda waiting till then.
Java is my main concern and I've been reading up on a lot of these and Minimo has been really buggy and doesn't support alot (though this doesn't say anything about this release).
Firefox is my favorite browser of all and if its one thing they do alot of... is updates. So I know one day Minimo will be top dawg, but I don't know if its ready yet. I will try this new version before I put my foot in my mouth. I'll report back with anything that I find (or don't find).
Do you mean Java or JavaScript?
As far the former is concerned, only NetFront will support it (unless the Opera folks implement it, but I highly doubt this), Minimo won't.

They won't surely leave us without a usable version after the trial expires. I'm pretty sure they'll xome up with something really cool (particularly that they were pretty positive about my bug reports & feature list requests).
