I can't get either one to work for me. Minimo doesn't even load....and Opera says I don't have enough memory to run (despite that I have 20 MBs worth to play with.) Anybody have any suggestions?
The Opera lack of memory bug is pretty common, particularly if Qmail is also in memory. Try closing other apps (especially Qmail if you run it).
I agreed w/ Menneisyys, Netfront and Opera are better than Minimo. To me Netfront is my favorite, it loads a lot faster than Minimo, sometimes it takes for ever to Minimo to load a page. The only good thing w/ Minimo is it's free
Wow minimo is amazing!
I have it running on my Axim X5 and installed onto a SD card. The browser installation took about a minute and ran smoothly after a soft reset. The gecko engine definitely renders pages a lot better than Opera.
If it takes just a little bit less memory and loads up in less than 20 seconds, Opera is going down! :) God bless Mozilla :)
oh i just downloaded netfront from fixdown.com and I guess it is pretty cool too... love the java support, rapid-rendering and the speed. great product!
wow.. they've made quite a lot of progress over the previous versions, Still nowhere close to Opera or Netfront but it is a lot better. At this rate in a few months this could be really interesting

The keyboard doesn't display properly at the bottom of the screen when I use minimo.....probably because of the message I got on installing it about it possibly being compatable with earlier windows mobile versions.......I'm on 5 on a x51v
Just tested it.. this thing still got VGA issues.. oh well.. back to the drawing board mozi-boys

i'm going to try Netfront, cause I've tried all the others, and honestly, I still find PIE the best by far (the other browsers are just plain goofy, slow, ugly, or unuseable). Minimo, on my X51v, is one of the worst!
When I tried to run it,some splash screen with a picture of a dinosaur flashes and the program won't run.Actually, the splash screen is unnecessary. On a PC application,it's fine(I use it in Rabbit Center Assistant),but,on a Pocket PC,it's a bit annoying.
Well, this is the first time trying minimo and so far it seems to work pretty well! I had major problems with the Opera demo as it kept randomly closing for unknown reasons. Minimo seems a bit slow, but not unusably slow. How does this compare to past builds? Anyone else try this new build yet?
