Free Scientific Calculator from SpaceTime released
SpaceTime just released a free scientific calculator (May 2, '06).
MyCalculator is a freescientific calculator for your Pocket PC, Palm OS 5 handheld, and Windows PC that supports an innovative memory system to store and recall answers!
Thanks for this. It is actually is quite good - strange way of doing calculations but once you get used to it it works. I've been struggling to find a good calculator with multiple memory slots - 1-calc works but is very slow under WM5. This one is very fast and, once you get used to it, very good for multiple memory calculations. Thanks. :approve:

I checked it out... IMHO it is not very impressive, other than looking pretty & ,if you need a quick & simple memory function, then it works fine. However, there is no option to display answers in scientific notation... which is pretty sad for a scientific calculator. So far the best scientific calculator I have found is callled Eval. It's small & has all functions displayed with out having to press 2nd key. Unfortunately, it lacks an option to display answers in scientific notation as well! I'm starting to wonder about all these "scientific calculators" that can't be set to display in scientific notation!!!
I just want EasyCalc ported from PalmOS (and the first person to say Styletap will get punched in the face). It was a powerful calculator, supported graphing, allowed you to just write equations in, and it was free. There's nothing like it for PPC :(
If you are looking for a full fledged calculator with scientific notation (and even soon to be adding RPN), DEFINITELY check out the trial of Spacetime from the same guy/company. I have to say on here that besides mapopolis, he is the most active developer I have come across on the PPC world. Found a bug? Post it on the forums and it is normally fixed within a week or two. I have used Spacetime from Intermediate Algebra through my current Calculus I class, and hope to use it beyond Calculus IV.

I haven't tried this, but it doesn't look like anything special.
When I had my axim, I used RD Calc: http://ravend.com/ .
It's $10, but it's totally worth it.
* Algebraic Entry
* TVM Solver
* Polar Graphing
* 3D Graphing
* Matrices
* Fractal Plots
* and more...
I also remember reading somewhere that it was possible to get the "TI-83/84/whatevr" calculators on your axim. Might want to give that a google if you've used TIs before.
