DLed the program. Installed it. Connected to wifi. Created an account and added my friend's name to my contact list and BOOM ! its working great. It took like five minutes or less to set up. Amazing !!!
It's great Skype is putting this promotion, man i just wish they'll keep it. :)
I have pocket Informant on my pda. I tried to call via "outlook mobil plugin" it show me skype, but when i try that the numbers aren't formated to what skype recognizes as a number to dial. I have to manually put in the "+1" in front of the tel. no so i have to copy it and then paste it and then manually add the +1 and remove the spaces.
Can anyone tell me how to go about configuring PI, or skype so that i can use it together w/o the other hassle...
All the same, actually. Any volume control an application shows is just a control for the device's volume.
Not true. The TCPMP application's volume control is seperate and distinct from the global volume control and even has an option to that effect (i.e. seperate or global).
It's just that most apps do indeed control the global volume.

I guess assholes still exist. Dude seriously grow up!
Uhh...did you think that they'd ceased to exist?? Is "dude" a "grown up" term? Why do you care what super does? What makes you think someone should care what you think? I don't care what you think. Do you care what I think? This is a technology forum, not Surfer Sunday School. By the way, what's your phone number, in case I want to call you?

It's lame that this offer is restricted calls originating from the USA and Canada--what's the difference when all calls are routed over the Internet, so that my calls from South Korea don't cost Skype any additional money?
Wow, this rules, tried it out and love it!!!! Thanks akheron!

I've been using Skype for a few days ( Gateway Profile 4X & Dell Axim X51v) to call land lines/cells and love it! I've used it for months Skype to Skype, and this just makes it COOL!

Oh man, can't anyone post anything funny on this site anymore?
Just tried it on my Axim X30 ... and it works perfectly !!!
The sound from the speaker is a little low, so headphones are recommeded.
It's awesome that we can make free phone calls to anywhere in the US and Canada until Dec 31, 2006.
Also ... anyone who is trying to generate a "+" on the Skype keypad and receiving a "0" instead ... just hold the 0/+ button for a few seconds, and it will register as a "+". A long press is for a "+" and a short press is for a "0". The "+" is required as the first character when you dial a phone number in Skype (+1 999 999 9999)
