Sudoku is addictive enough for me. I have played some kakuro grids on paper and wish to stay with sudoku for the time being.

I have read several posts in this thread and I can feel the passion. So maybe later.

Dom (from Mastersoft) asked me to post this experience in case others are having a similar problem with today screen/shell replacements (like WD, etc.):

I have Kakuro V1 on my x50v (WM2003SE) along with PPX (http://www.ppx3k.com), a today screen/shell replacement and PocketBreeze. Karuko and PB are installed on my CF card, PPX is in main memory. When PPX is running, PB is setup as a plug-in to PPX. If I have PPX and PB running, launching Kakuro causes a SQL error and crash requiring a soft reset. If I turn off PB within PPX, Kakuro launches and runs fine. If I exit PPX and have PB running on the stock today screen, Kakuro launches and runs fine. If I have PB running on my stock today screen and launch Kakuro, then start PPX (with PB as a plugin) Kakuro continues to run until I quit it and try to restart it. PB has no other plugins/tabs other than those included.

There must be a conflict between 2 or all 3 of the programs. Anyone else having similar problems?

I performed a hard reset and everything works! Now I'm just waiting for the registration code.

Hey kulnet...after you performed the hard reset did you restore from a latest backup? Or did you re-install all your programs over again?

I installed everything over again. For me, it really wasn't all that much.

Yup.....kulnet and I are the only ones I remember.
BTW...I did a hard reset also. I was fun to start from scratch. The game works great now. I like it.

I was one of the lucky ones:)

Did my install onto X30 mid A06 with no problems. Just takes longer now to decide which game to play while in my small meditation room

We've just updated the generator so that all the puzzles (except simple) are full size .... hope you like the improvement. Still says V1. Just re-install from the product page at our site ...
