Anyone try to install this using Active Sync 3.8? Mircosoft says to use 4.0.

You'll need the CAB files.

"Added the option to install the global assembly
cache to the storage card."
Nice! Save people from going through all that registry crap to get it off your build in storage.
I'm on a mac... can someone who has installed the update maybe post a URL or email me the cab files

I just installed it, didn't see any way to tell it to use the storage card. (You can still choose a location for installation in ActiveSync, but it dumps all the DLLs to /Windows.)

Aww man I just moved .net CF2.0 to BIS in my 2003se machine just this morning. You gotta move it manually, it demands to be installed to default location. I sp1 here installs smoothly to my BIS.

Wierd. You can't choose the install path during install (ie /SD, /CF, or /Device)
Wierd. That's kinda like false advertisement. Microsoft kills me. Every download comes with a check for $1 million dollars and a mail-order wife. GET YOURS NOW!

Just tried the wm2003 cab again. It downloads as a .rar archive. Have you tried right-clicking on the link and saving?

I got the WM5 version and yea I noticed it launched Windows Media Player. When has a cab file been related to windows media?
Right Clicking and saving as... works just fine. Thanks for the alternative download.
