If I were a betting man (which I'm not), I'd say this means the straight PDA market will die out and the era of pure convergence is right over the horizon. The smart phones will get smarter with full-fledged PDA functionality, more powerful than the X51v's. Phones will do everything.

Phones will still have to be smallish (bigger than today, though, but I still think that my X51V's screen is a bit too small for every use), so I think either extremely powerful umpcs+powerful smartphones or perhaps extremely powerful smartphones with some sort of projector/foldable screen may be what the future holds.

Oh well, x50v made me no longer enjoy pocket pcs anymore anyways.

Im just suprised intel sold their Wifi stuff. Now they will have to buy from companies to build their centrino chipsets!

I guarantee you, the chips in my PC and my Ax belong to ME! (All my chip are belong to me) I bought them and they are mine only! No matter if a pack of mutants own the company.

Good thing I have an Intel processor ... I don't care if Intel sold out to Marvell! If it's labeled Intel PXA270 then it's still an Intel to me! :D I wonder if Dell is gonna release a new update that'll say "Marvell Tech. PXA270" in the properties thing. Hmm...
BTW its not Marvell Comics. It's Marvell Tech. Group. http://www.marvell.com/ wayyy different from spiderman
