I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the person who named this software does not speak english as a first language.

Pretty funny but......

...this company makes good products. So take it easy on them.
Ive used their imput system since the days of my Handspring visor.
I havent tried "Powerdic" :uglyhamme yet but the old e4udic was a great dictionary. It got me though 2 semesters of Korean language when I was studying overseas.

Anyways, if you need an Asian language localizer and dictionary Id check it out.
If not, why waste your time making fun of things you don't understand?

Regards,
Cherryhead

What do you call a person who speaks 3 languages? Tri-lingual
2 languages? Bilingual
1 language? An American

Software looks very nice. How about adding a few more languages? I've been looking for something like this but I already bought Lingvosoft ML-11. And please think about changing the name "PowerDic" :icon_rofl to something else..

i think the provocative name is so people would click on it and see what it is all about, looks like a good reference, but i think i'll keep using my free mdict ;)
spent so many hours collecting dictionaries for it might as well =D

Does it translate English<->Japanese as well, or just English<->Korean?
And if not, can anyone suggest a good dictionary app that would translate English<->Japanese?
Please :)

The "PowerDic" naming follows the convention established by other dictionaries;

SayDic (bundled with "SayDic Quick")
e4u Dic (
AnyDic

...and in Japan they've got an app for Windows called, "EasyDic"!

I live in Korea and as I try to learn the language it looks like PowerDic is the best. However, their pricing seems a bit riDICulous. Hey Diotek, how about a Korean language student discount? Then again, SayDic ain't cheap either.
