I hope nobody copies my idea like the infinite Axim loop idea has been copied =P

Well well, here's my entry to this contest.
Anyways, even though I have Resco Picture Viewer, and it would have been a breeze to take a screenshot with that as i've done so before, I decided to follow Menn's guide and use Pocket Informant (which I didn't know had screenshot-taking abilities). So, that's it! And thus concludes my entry.

Capture screen with Xnview

:) A number of utilities are evidenced by the screenshot attached to this mail.

1. top right: date and time, instead of the battery. I used the LVM Time utility that offers the added functionality of presenting the date in the first line (long format). The normal time not used in this case.

2. PocketWeather showing the forecast time (is raining in Paris!!!)

3. The next field shows the part of the Device Status utility that I use, that is the "Quick Launch" and the "Launched" applications field which offer several useful capabilities namely to present, for easy launching, the applications I use more often (starting with TTNBot which launches TomTom Navigator 5 with the added facility that it allows WMP or TCPMP to pass from one file to the next one when running along with Tom Tom). The launched field shows the running applications: TCPMP to listen to my favorite podcasts and Stop Time to have a regular time signal in order to keep track of my fitness exercises). The maunched field allows me to completely stop the applications freeing the memory.

4. The next field show the TodayWarrior line that shows the status of several functions, the CPU usage and wireless (wifi and BT) conections. It allows me to soft reset if needed.

5. Two traditional lines for calendar and unlocking the device

In the background, the picture of my four boys.

I wanted to use a screen shot of my Scrabble game in which I scored 101 points in a single play for the word "relaxing" on a triple word space with the X on a double letter space, but the moment I placed my Axim in the cradle to take a screen shot with SOTI Pocket Controller, Crosswords unexpectedly shut down and I lost my game! ARRRGGGG...

Oh well, here is my next best one. I was hoping for a better score, but I've been on a losing streak lately. Red tiles are mine; blue tiles are the robots.

This was taken with SOTI Pocket Controller, but I've also used Pocket XnView to take screen shots on the Axim.

using a image hosting website such as http://www.wrrx.com/ or http://photobucket.com, you can then insert images into your posts by wrapping IMG tags around its URL.

Example.

[IMG]-http://123.com/123.jpg-[/IMG] (Remove the dashes to make the [IMG] tags work

Tribute to Aximsite Today Screen

Another very informative article by Menneisyys. Here is my "Tribute to Aximsite" Today Screen. Not only are these icons attractive, they are also very intuitive. For example Gigi's avatar links to the Power Manager because I'm always running out of juice thanks to her "What can I do with my Axim" article. Martin's avatar is linked to the Task Manager because if you get out of line, he will shut you down (like a misbehaving program). Kulnet's avatar is linked to SPB Time because this guy always seems to post first (he must have a lot of time on his hands). Frenchy has over 20,000 posts (he's very wordy). PocketBrain is the Necromancer (SPB Backup brings back the dead). Chris is clearly the Total Commander. ABF...well that one is obvious. So are Ikehiker's, JakeRich's, Cheryl's, Akheron's, AmitRegev's and Hnelson59's. Some apps I just associate with people because they wrote it, have given me a lot of advice on it or advocate for it (SilentKnight, BigDave, and Stevenator). And thhe search for MrK continues. I use the Resco Picture Viewer Screen Capture utility. Shortcuts created by iLauncher 3.0.
