I was checking the Pocket e-Sword website and discovered this:
All files are compressed and will self-extract. After you download them they must be "run" to complete their installation. The files must be downloaded onto a PC and installed onto the PDA using Microsoft ActiveSync.
Minimal system requirements include:
Desktop PC running Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, or XP
Strong Arm/XScale based PDA running Pocket PC 2002, 2003/2003SE, or Windows Mobile 2005
I have been using this program on my X5 and X50v with WM2003SE for a couple of years now and find it to be about the most useful program I have. The user interface is awesome and it is a feature packed Bible study software. The best part is that it is free and so are many of the translations and references. If you have a WM5 device and would like to check it out, you can do so here.
I have not tried the WM5 version - if you do try this, let us know what you think! :)

Thanks for the heads up. I installed it tonight and it is working great except one thing. It is the same reason that I uninstalled the last version also. The chinese version doesn't wrap properly. I have to keep scrolling back and forth in order to read it. Too bad that it doesn't work with the chinese version.
What's the difference? I've been running the 2003 SE version on my X51v already...anything to make it worth reinstalling? Yeah I have Chinese Traditional on mine as well...and no problems.
myrcgarage: I have no problems with the Chinese version...using ChinaFEP_No5en.cab and echinaNO5.cab for Chinese support/input.
Pocket E-sword worked with WM5 very well since the day WM5 was released. I had used it all this time intensively without any problem. :approve:
Myrcgarage: You are correct. The Chinese version does not work properly. My answer to it is to use OliveTree Bible Reader. The reader is free and so is the Chinese bible.

Thanks. That is what I am using right now. I sent email to Rick to see if he has a work around.

Thanks for the heads up. i have been using it for over three years now and I had the pres=vious version 2003 on my x51v with WM5. I oticed some small problems such as having to indicate the resources file avery time that I opened it. After the download and installation of the 2006 version, for WM5, this seems to have disappeared. So so far so good.
Have a nice day.:approve:

Are there any differences in the new WM2005 version (v2.6.0) worth noting? I use the WM2003 (v2.5.2) on a X51mid & X51v and it works like a champ.
GeneValgene--I agree, an exit option would be a great addition.
Oscar Ubaldo--I have noticed having to indicate the resources file every time I start up the WM2003 version on my X51v (resources installed on the CF card). I don't get that error on my X51mid (resources installed on the SD card). Perhaps it could be due to a power-down difference between CF and SD cards... or it could just be a fluke!
I prefer OliveTree.coms Bible Reader. Its free as are many of its bibles and commentaries.
That is what I am using right now due to the Chinese Bible issue I mentioned above. One big problem with OliveTree Bible Reader: it doesn't say which book you are on. This is one major drawback on Bible Reader, however, it starts very quickly.
