have a couple of quetions but since i have a bad migraine and tension headache i am going to be lazy and ask instead of read all the features

here goes - my wife and i both use siemens sx66 pda/phones that are backed up to a laptop and the contacts and calender are synced on the laptop to outlook on the laptop. now, say i put this on one of the phones, and something happens and the phone is lost - can i still update a new pda with the information? at least the contact and or calender or does all that get encrypted? does outlook need to be set any special way for this to work? how about active sync?

thanks in advance,
bob

Hi Bob.. Good qestions!

If your device were lost, and you had a backup on the laptop, you should be able to transfer to a new device...

Files are only encrypted if you choose to do that. They can then be stored on the laptop also, and decrypted on a new device!

Pocket Secure is not linked with Outlook in any way, so Outlook can be set anyway you choose..

As for AS, there is a feature in PS to disable communications between the device & pc. This won't affect other devices from communicating with AS.

Hope that answered it for you! Give the trial a go, and test it out! Hope the head's feeling better.... :)
