"K-Rally is a top-down racer where you are equipped with mines and rockets, and have several levels of upgrades available to your tires (grip), engine (speed), and armor (durability).
Leave a trail of destruction behind as you blast ahead of the competition. Make your opponents spin and crash as you bombard them with a barrage of weapons. Take them out of the race with rockets and mines. Win races and prize money so you can progress to the next level of competition for more fire action."
Haha seems like some type of preventing piracy by eliminating trials and shareware all together... kinda like what they did with Sprite Backup. I'd never buy a PPC game without trying it first, and the video proves nothing on how my device handles it.
Yah I agree. They should have a trial version with like one short race track or something. Even without a trial I'm considering buying this, only 15 bucks.

Very fun game and cool graphics. Just make sure you organize the control keys to your liking so weapons and stuff while driving are easy to select. And set acceleration to auto.
I was trying to see if it had VGA support or not. It seems weird to me but I think that the x51v has less performance than a lot of older PDAs and I think the QVGA->VGA thing gives it all of its extra troubles... Am I right in that thinking?
Has anyone played it on x51v and does it play well with a good frame rate? It looks really fun but I'm wondering how the car is controlled and if it is easy to use on such a small device.

Very true. This was a big concern when the x50v first game out. Although it is capable of displaying great graphics (due to vga and the grapihcs chip), older and newer games written for GAPI did not perform as well. Someone did release a GAPI tweak to improve performence, but I don't know if there was ever a wm5 or x51v release for it.
I don't know if this game was written with GAPI but this may be part of the problem...
I have it on my x51v and it runs great. You use the stylus to maneuver your car around the screen. The car will accelerate when you have contact with the stylus and the screen. Lift the stylus and you slow down.
All you need are 3 buttons assigned for Missiles, Mines, and Turbo. (I thought there were oil slicks as well?)
Other then that your good to go. I found that it seems that the buttons don't want to reassign easily. Button 4 on my Axim is and will forever be "Pause". Even if I assign something to it (like turbo), pressing Button 4 in game will just pause it.
It seems that a few of the buttons are hard coded and can't be changed even if you manually change it. Its prolly a bug and mostly likely get fixed.

No Hi-Res support (also see my review, where I've also elaborated on this). Not that it'd need it- it's just plain great even at "only" QVGA.
BTW, guys, make sure you check out the latest version of the review - I've published a LOT of new tips and tricks in the meantime and linked in a lot of other reviews / discussion boards.
