Oh well, tried the upgrade (which seemed to go OK at first) only to find that as I use a corporate laptop with Cisco VPN client software installed that Activesync 4.x just won't work. I am stunned that after all this time no one has got these two mainstream products working together. Had to deinstall the VPN code (don't tell our IT dept.) just to be able to revert then install it back again afterwards.

I am just pleased that I have a machine with 2003 on it otherwise it would be impossible for me to have a Pocket PC of any kind - WM5 just don't work in our organisation!!!
