Chaps I am losing the will to live and hoping you can help. I have a Vista laptop with WMDC and the driver updates and a Dell Axim x51 (ROM AO5). When I first got the laptop I had no problems with the sync but now it is very intermittent and more commonly, non existent (WDMC reports Axim as 'not connected').
In the past if I uninstalled WDMC and the drivers and reinstalled, it would work. Once each time that is! Two weeks ago I did this process and got it to sync x3, even after disconnecting it x2 from the USB. Now, nothing.
Part of the problem seems to be that Pocket PC/Dell Axim x51 driver seems to keep dropping from the device list, but I cannot get it back on the driver list.
I have tried here there and everywhere for a solution (including Microsoft - awaiting reply), but no success.
You refer above to
Advanced network functionality under Start-Settings-Connections-USB to PC. The USB to PC does not exist on my Axim under connections.
Any help would greatly be appreciated. If you need more system info let me know.
Thanks in advance.
