hmm.. I'm getting CEUTIL.dll error on start-up. Maybe you need Sprite Backup to be installed on your PC for this to run?
I just got a reply from Sprite support. The error message about ceutil.dll is due to having the wrong version of Activesync. It turns out that Sprite Explorer requires ActiveSync version 4.2 (possibly any 4.x version.) It won't work with AS 3.8.

Thanks for the info!
Anyone know if ActiveSync version 4.0 or up will work with X5 and X50 (WM 2003)? Thanks.
Dang.. I like 3.8, won't be upgrading anytime soon.
I found a way to get Sprite Explorer working with ActiveSync 3.8. I replaced the rapi.dll file in my Sprite Explorer directory with the 3.8 version from my system32 directory. It now works perfectly. The rapi.dll file installed by Sprite Explorer is a version 4.1 or such. :)
It turns out that you can simply delete the rapi.dll in the Sprite Explorer directory - it'll use the rapi.dll in the system32 directory instead.
