I agree, the icons still look bad.
If there's a WM6 upgrade for Axim, I don't think I would get it (not for the look anyway).
If WM6 is on my new pda, I would probably cover it up with PI2007, Wisbars, and other addons.
I wonder if Microsoft Pocket PC OS design team ever go out to the real world and ask what people really want.
It's too bad they don't look at the most popular plug-ins that many user consider to be integral to their devices use. If they did that they would find the capabilities that people really want. As chiang12 pointed out, I will end up throwing WA2, PB, iLauncher, and Pocket Informant on the machine just to make it usable.

The point is will we be able to upgrade our own units with the new software?
Dell is discontinuing the axim as told here recently, so... should I care? I'm expecting to be disappointed in upgrade options as Dell hasn't opened that door in the past (Well except for the x50's with mixed results).
