Thanks to your type A personality, i was able to attempt a download. B/c i only saw the previous versions i just figured that it was not updated as of yet.


I noticed that the download for the opera is the following : 8.60u2 for Windows mobile 5

I believe that is an update, b/c my previous version was an 8.60u1 unless i'm mistaken...


If i am, it's still an upgrade for me b/c i had the 8.60u1 version...



I guess it was a typo... but good work non the less, i'll jsut wait it out...

For the record, Opera Mobile 8.65 for WM is still not released. And this page should not be public.

When the release is here, this will of course be announced. At least now you know what to look foward to.

Grab and Scroll (PocketPC only)- who cares, fine the way it is
Web search in addressbar- ok cool
Save image- essential, i can't believe it was ignored so long. My friends share thier photos over facebook and if I find on with me in it I have to open IE and cut and paste the adress from opera into IE (which sucks with weak connections) and hope that it can download it for me.
Copy text- didn't we already have this?
Send link as e-mail, sms, and mms- who cares
Import IE bookmarks- nice, I hope i can sync them with my pc like ie does then
Languages- not super useful for me, but it will be for a allot of people
Support for Macromedia Flash Player 7 for Pocket PCs- yes, now all they need to do is upgrade the flash to the point where i can use youtube on my handheld
FlashLite 2.1- no idea what this is.

I'm glad that as the clear leader in PPC browser technology Opera still sees fit to push the envelope and inovate rather than sit back and rake in the dough as they halt development because they are so far ahead of everyone else.

Flash Lite is a heavily dumbed-down version of Flash, pretty mush useless. Fortunately, it seems the "real", official Flash plug-in will also be supported.

You might want to check again from what I noticed it was for symbian phones only not Axim ppcs.
