Where specifically are we supposed to discuss beta questions? I know that some forums do not like you to discuss beta issues in the main part of the forum. Is there a specific location you want us to go to bring up issues/questions?

This beta is not public, you will have subscribe with us to give you access to it. From that sense, usually all discussion are done through e-mails between the beta tester and our team.

Please feel free to contact beta dinarsoft.com for any question about it.

If you want to request a feature, you can contact us or create a new thread in this forum.

Hi there,
I am thinking of upgrading my Memmaid 1.73 to 2.0. (Got an email with a discount code). So, I've downloaded a trial version. Generally, it worked well except that it is all scrambled up if wisbar advance 2 is running at the same time. I tried it several times, even reloaded to try.
Please check to see if there is a conflict and a patch is released. I am using a X51V

My friend do not have this problem on his HTC Trinity (qvga). He can run both WA2 and memmaid 2.0 without problem.

I can verify that MM 2.0 does not work is Wisbar advance 2. Now I wish I would have volunteered to beta test

I just had to many personal things going on.

Are you running a beta version of WisBar (say 2.8.0.3)

if yes, please try an official release of WisBar (2.8.0.2) and let us know.

Actually I am running WisBar version 2.7.0.1 release date 6/21/07. I have around 50 programs on my PPC (I use my x50v extensivly) - this version of WisBar has been extremly stable when using other applications.

Thoughts?

Alright, We have investigated the issue.

The problem will appear only on VGA devices. WisBar Advance 2 is using a generic name for VGA resources dll (VGARes.dll) which is loaded in all running processes for WisBar to work.

This name is also used by MemMaid for VGA resources.

To see this, run MemMaid and go to the running programs tab, select MemMaid, and look for VGARes.dll in the modules listed below in the information window. You will see that the file is loaded from WisBar folder. While if WisBar is not running, the file is correctly loaded from MemMaid folder.

In order to get things going as we do not know when or if Lakeridge Software would be able to change the generic file name, we will be releasing another build later today or tomorrow that uses a different name.

I have been beta testing MemMaid 2 on my x51v running WA3 beta 4 and WAD 1.3.0.7 with no problems like twmiller described.
