The 8GB Iphone has overtaken the Nintendo Wii in the Cnet Most Wanted List for 06/26/2007. Check out the leap that the Canon EOS-1D Mark III made. Nice. How on earth is the Wii selling so much better than the PS3? It's got a cool control system, but it's no better processor or graphics wise than the PS2.

Answer regarding the Wii selling more than the PS3... it seems the average consumer doesn't necessarily care about the processor or graphics so much as the experience - and the Wii changed that and coupled it with a far more accessible price point. Sony and MS significantly underestimated this approach (and Sony actually mocked it, I recall). It's a great story, and Nintendo deserves a lot of credit for pulling it off. Target and every other big box has shelves of PS3s and XB360s, but nary a Wii to be found - and it's not due to lack of supply. It's pretty amazing. And pretty cool.

I agree, I am selling my Xbox 360 right now because the kids love the Wii and havent touched the 360... for a month before and definately after we bought the wii.

thunder33cat hit the nail on the head - it's the experience that counts, not the specs. Early adopters buy for specs but buy again and recommend based up on experience. Most successful products (electronic or others) win with experience.

Hmm I hate that I bought Wii alongside the PS3 being a SONY fanboy!!

I loathe Nintendo's success & nooo I refuse to grow up and get over it. :p

Well I got myself a Wii and love it.

Havent touched my XBOX360, at first I thought the Wii seemed a bit wooden, flat graphics and flaky controls. Now, howwever, after the decent games have begun to emerge, its completley different.

Stick the Wii on composite Hi Def and the graphics are bright and smooth, easily equivalent to the PS2. The unit is tiny and the whole experience is cool.

I can see why they banned Manhunt 2, especially with the Wii controls.
