Allrecipes.com Launches 'On-the-Go' Access to Online Cooking Resource With Allrecipes.com Mobile
In a move to provide an unparalleled new level of convenience to America's busy home cooks, Allrecipes.com, the world's largest community food site, launched Mobile.Allrecipes.com. Mobile users can now tap into the expertise of more than two million home cooks and search Allrecipes.com's entire collection of 40,000 trusted recipes -- complete with the site's trademark ratings and reviews, photos, scaling and cook times -- anywhere cell phone access is available for easy, dependable, on-the-go meal planning.
Allrecipes.com's comprehensive site is accessible by any Web-enabled mobile phone. Simply enter "Mobile.Allrecipes.com" into your phone's Web browser and you'll instantly gain access to the site's database of user submitted recipes and reviews. Just like at Allrecipes.com, recipes can be searched by title or ingredients, an especially handy tool only offered by Allrecipes.com, when planning a meal by a key ingredient that may already be in the refrigerator or that you were just inspired by at the store or on the way home. The full functionality of scaling and cooking times, and access to the insight shared in recipe reviews, really allows users to customize meals to fit their family's needs.
Great! I'm glad to see you don't have to use Avantgo for this anymore! (I really did not like Avantgo....)

Thanks Susan for a great resource, I've been limited to a very few apps for recipes that you can get for PDA, but an online resource tailored for my ax is great!
1/2 cup ice
2 tsp sugar
2 sprigs mint
1/2 lime
1 1/2 oz light rum
splash of sprite zero

Pedah, you were the first person I thought of when I saw the headline.
This site could come in very handy, though I better be careful, or my wife will make me throw out my 40+ cookbooks.

I don't think it will supercede my complete collection of Magaret Fulton[you'll have to google her], and my library is huge, but it's a lot easier than having to copy paste to notes so I can import it into PDA cookbook! I haven't found any other mobile freindly food sites.

I used ListPro to create a cookbook that I carry around on my pocket pc. Now I have my favorite standbys with me all the time.

Hey, this is great. I usually use the laptop when doing a new recipe but I'm always afraid that I'll get flower or something else on it (yes, I'm messy when I cook) so I usually print the recipe out or run back and forth from kitchen to the table.
Now I can just stick the PDA in my Otterbox and rock and roll! Plus it takes up less room on my counter.
