1) Does the North America map include Canada (I have to ask because our American friends occasionally forget that there is another country to the north of them)?

2) How does the detail compare to the ones provided for the Dell Navigation system? Last year's maps for Canada and the US were 2.3 GB in size, this one's NA map is advertized at 1.3 GB

We need to have someone do a review of the "new" i-guiddance. I've been trying to use Delorme handheld with a 737 bluetooth GPS and it's just not cuttin it. I Need to find something simple so my wife will be able to use it.

Nice updates but I'm concerned about that huge map size. I don't want to have to buy a while new minimum 2GB card just to fit that huge map on it-- not including all my other stuff like photos, MP3s, programs, videos, etc. I like just having only the states/areas on my card that I travel in. I see no need to be forced to have for instance, Guam on my storage card when I'm never going to visit Guam...

Can the map be "cut" up to only include parts that we choose or are we forced to deal with one huge 1.3GB map? Thanks! :)

2GB cards are really inexpensive now. IMO well worth the upgrade alone not to have to swap maps in and out.
