I believe it has become a win win situation. All the viewetrs have won by having a second site merged so they don't have to go to and the two sites have won by having more viewers and having ONE GREAT SITE now.
i think the changes are good to keep the knowlege of the people here. it is good to have now a playce where i can get more infos on other portable devices, so i do not need to look in other forums
I visit Aximsite every day & have over the last few weeks been visiting Mobilitysite daily....I think due to the fact that the Axim is slowly dying out, its a good time to merge......To be honest, sometimes there is quite a gap in times on the updating of the Axim page, but mobility gets more
Since my primary device is now the HTC 8525 and I only use the Axim on occasion, I would like to see the non-axim area get "beefed up" with more techies. I know that when I post a general question on this site, I usually get well thought out responses from other readers. Now, we need to "beef up" our support and interest in the non-axim products. The PDA update and news is always informative and helpful.
I think the change is nice, though that it is necessary is sad. It's good, however, to keep up on all things mobile. In any case, I'm sure the next big enthusiast community will be born here.
Merging was inevitable in order to stay relevant.
Even with the new subject matter, my interest is Axim - as long as it functions.
I'll stray over to new categories to take a peek.
I can't believe all the hype for converged devices nowdays. My x50v does everything and oddly enough, a PDA was the last thing I was actually looking at when shopping for a personal media device. Thanks aximobility site!
