I've learned that is probably a good idea that you check that your backup is actually happening even though it is on an automatic backup.

I usually just do 2 backups...didn't think 4...sounds good to me...never can have enough backups...imagine a hard reset AND a hard drive failure...make sure you put some on CD too.

I just learned that Sprite Backup has the Self Extracting Backup, that eliminates the need to re-install the application first.

It takes me about three days to get my device configured right after a hard reset, because I have to locate registration codes, installation files, etc.

What a time saver!

First, I have learned I dont backup as much as I should and with automated backups that would solve the problem. Its also a good idea to backup the a memory card for safe keeping.

This is new to me. I've never made more than 2 backups of anything, so far. Seems like I need to be making more copies of copies I have.
