Over 100 colleges using e2campus

e2 Omnilert, maker of the mass notification system for higher education called e2Campus, announced today that over 100 colleges and universities have adopted mass text messaging systems from e2Campus.

The heightened awareness of emergency preparedness has prompted school officials to seek better action plans. One solution is to communicate to students' personal cell phones via SMS text messaging. e2Campus utilizes SMS to enable a school official to push urgent information right to a
student's pocket or purse.
