The Official Palm Blog announced the Treo Mobile Comedy Film Festival. The festival has been created to celebrate the emerging art form of made-for-mobile films. "Made for mobile" means films created specifically for the smaller screens of mobile devices. Treo Film Festival entries do not have to be made using a Treo smartphone or mobile phone. Films may be shot and edited using any traditional or non-traditional filmmaking method. Both experienced and inexperienced filmmakers are welcome. Entrants may create and edit video using any means. In other words, there's no requirement to use a Treo smartphone or another mobile phone to capture video.
