The point is a vga ppc not a qvga, which is aplenty arround.
The processor lacks the muscle.
That which is available is not what we seeked.

My Axim X51v was stollen 3 weeks ago and after an exhaustive research I could not find a single device that was able to replace it- I do not mind recent smartphones but they are either too big (Toshiba) as a phone or were Symbian based (Nokia N95), which would cause problems with Outlook sync or had poor sound quality (E-ten X500). So I ended up buying a second hand X51v from eBay last Friday.
I think that it will take at least another year before there is a decent replacement in form of a Smartphone for our Axims!

I ordered mt Axim X51 on 30th july. It will be my first PDA and I think looking at the spec it will be fast enuff and good enuff for what i want it for. I will only need to buy a wireless SDIO network card thoguh (Anyone know any decent ones?).

My only gripe is that it is not going to be delivered until 31st August !! I think this is too long, apparently there is a shortage of glass !!!
